In Memory of Jace Talbot
Our families suffered a devastating loss on Thursday morning. We wanted to set up this Gofund me to help Nicole and the boys with any medical and funeral expenses. Anything over that will go towards Colt and Reeds futures. Other ways to donate are to Nicole’s Venmo @Ntalbot82. We would also like to thank everyone for their love and support during this very difficult time.
Jace Tyler Talbot, 38, passed away on January 7, 2021 in his home in Logandale, NV. Jace was born on March 9, 1982 in St. George, Utah to Tyler Joseph Talbot and Vicki Elaine Shultz. Jace was raised in Moapa Valley and enjoyed RC cars, off-roading and hunting. He loved playing baseball as a child, was an avid Husker Football fan, and had a passion for watching rodeo and horse racing.
In 2003, Jace met Nicole Smillie at work. They were married a year later on October 2, 2004 in Overton, Nevada. They have two sons, Colt and Reed. Jace was a loving husband and father. He was genuine, stubborn and had a great sense of humor, making others laugh without even trying.
Jace is survived by his wife, Nicole Talbot; his sons, Colt and Reed; his parents, Tyler (Caroline) Talbot and Vicki (Jeff) Bierstedt; his grandmothers, Belva Talbot and Mary Shultz; his siblings, Shaun Talbot, Taryn (Jestin) Waters, and Done’e Talbot; his nieces, Jordyn, Tayven, Kimber, and Adelin; his nephews, Kayson, Blayke, Dillon, and Brex; and many close friends and loved ones. Jace is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Harvey Talbot, Vester Shultz, and Mel Kriegh; and his niece, Haylee Waters.
Special thanks to Children’s Heart Center, especially Dr. William Evans, who treated Jace for 38 years.
