In Memory of Jaide: Support for Her Family

On the night of March 6th, Jaide Olyvia Simmons was brutally murdered by her husband, Sage Simmons. According to The Daily News of Jacksonville, NC, Sage struck Jaide with his car in the parking lot of their apartment complex. Sage was charged with second-degree murder and issued a $2 million bond as a result of his actions.

Jaide was a kind, outgoing woman who had a zest for life. She loved books, animals, and the beach. Jaide is survived by her mother Deanna, father Jeff, siblings Brooke and Dylan, and their families.

In the aftermath of her murder, Jaide’s mother is faced with the cost of Jaide’s cremation as well as an undetermined amount for legal expenses. We are therefore asking on behalf of Deanna for $5,000 to help with these costs. Any help is greatly appreciated, and we thank you in advance for your generosity.
