In Memory of Jakob Gottfriedson
Donation protected
On May 25, 2024, a tragic motor vehicle accident took the life of 18 year old Jakob Gottfriedson just a few weeks before his high school graduation. This tragedy leaves an unexpected deep void, especially for his devoted mother, Candace, and his four sisters who now navigate life's challenges without his presence. Jakob was a vibrant soul with an infectious smile that could win anyone over. He was active in the Kamloops hockey community since a very young child.
As a community, we are called to support them through this unimaginable grief. Let us rally together, extending our hands in compassion and/or generosity, to offer love, prayers and if possible financial assistance to alleviate the burdens they now face. Any contribution serves as a beacon of hope for this family, providing much needed support for daily expenses, funeral arrangements, and the emotional healing journey that lies ahead.
Together, we can make a profound difference in the lives of those left behind, honoring the memory of Jakob by embodying the spirit of unity and kindness. Your donation will not only ease the immediate financial strain but will also serve as a testament to the power of community in times of adversity. Let us wrap our arms around Candace and his sisters, offering them solace and support as they navigate this journey of grief and remembrance. 100% of the proceeds will be directed to Candace to assist with funeral arrangements and alleviate any financial stress they face in the coming months.
