James was proud of the journey he took—arriving in New York to study at NYU at 17 to becoming a Creative Director and Professor just over a decade later. New York gave him the opportunity to be himself and chase his dreams. He was passionate about helping others, particularly his students, follow in his footsteps.
As such, his family has set up this GoFundMe with the aim of supporting young, deserving students in New York City who embody James' spirit, drive, and journey.
