In Memory of Jane Lyons

Jane Lyons was a passionate advocate for young people, and she spent her life championing them - both professionally and personally.

Throughout her long career in health and social care across Swindon, she met many young people from different walks of life, and was committed to helping them in whatever way she could. Acknowledging the difficult role of young carers was something she cared deeply about. She worked with many families living under difficult circumstances, and children who had to grow up much too quickly, and admired the strength and resolve of such young people.

Supporting Swindon Young Carers was a cause close to Jane’s heart, and she would be thrilled to raise money to enable some respite for people who really need it.
