In memory of Jason Donahue

This fundraiser is in behalf of my niece Marrissa, who just lost her husband, Jason to an unexpected stroke at the age of 32.

They've been together since they were 15. They were each other's first and only loves. You couldn't keep them apart. Their souls were intertwined from the moment they met. He lived a street over and Marrissa would sneak out at night to meet him. It's always been Marrissa and Jason.

It's not been easy. But together they made a life full of love. Marrissa can't turn down a helpless kitty or pup that needs a home. Tragically, her cat that she had for a very long time just passed away.

Jason had a history of high blood pressure and suffered a sudden, severe stroke. He wished to be an organ donor so he's on life support until they can find recipients.

We are shocked and saddened at this tragic news and are grappling with how to help and support her.
