In Memory of Jason Mowen

Jason passed away unexpectedly on Aug 2. After years of ups and downs, Jason was doing so much better, but here we are - and now his journey is over.

Addiction is a horrible thing; it’s messy, and it leaves behind a mixture of emotions and grief so different from others. Jason was only 35 years old - his challenges took his life away from him, and us, far too soon. His addiction was stronger than he could deal with, and as we cope and process this loss, we also remember who he was outside of the addiction. He was more than just his struggles. Memories of his childhood and the good things he did remind us all that Jason was more than the sum of his parts, he is…was…also a son, and a brother, and a friend.

We would love nothing more than to give Jason a sensible funeral service, but we cannot do so alone.

Every donation will get us closer to putting him to rest peacefully.
