In Memory of Jean-Arthur Pouabou

It is with a very heavy and sorrowful heart that I am creating this campaign in light of the passing of my father Jean-Arthur Pouabou in Vancouver, Canada on August 26 2024.

My father came to Canada to visit and get a hip replacement surgery. During his medical checkup, he was found with a lung tumour that would eventually claim his life several months after.

He fought a good battle and looked like he was going to pull through but the Lord had different plans for his life and we rest in His sovereign Hand, though at times, very painful.

With cancer comes many medical bills but most importantly his passing in Canada means that we have to make arrangements to bury him in his native country, Congo Brazzaville.

This campaign is set up for the purpose of covering the costs of the repatriation of his body and a portion would go to the remaining bills. (Dad had health insurance that is going to cover the rest).

I never thought I would be here today and I am thankful for every contribution.

Besides monetary support, your texts, prayers and presence during this trying time has been a great comfort to my family.
