In Memory of Jeff Bird -Family Fund

Jeffrey (Jeff) Bird was one of the most dedicated, kindest, and funniest individuals anyone had the pleasure of knowing. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son, and friend. An intelligent, committed and experienced pilot, Jeff served our great nation of Canada for 10 years with the Canadian Air Force, which included a tour in Afghanistan in 2011, before joining Mount Royal University recently as a Class 3 flight instructor for MRU's aviation program. He loved to fly and had an incredible passion for teaching those who shared that same dream. But his greatest passion was always, and forever will be, his family.

It is with great sadness that we had to say goodbye on Monday February 13, 2017 to our dear friend, brother and mentor. He leaves behind his amazing wife, Carly, and his two beautiful children, Celeste (3 years) and Shane (5 months).

We have set up this fundraising page to help Jeff's family. The funds raised from this specific campaign will be going directly to his kids to ensure they're set up for success in the future and will understand just how much of an impact their dad made on all of us.

The memorial service is being planned for Jeff at 2 p.m. on Sunday February 19 at the Bella Concert Hall at Mount Royal University.
