In Memory of Jeff Newell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our colleague, Jeff Newell. Jeff was an integral part of the OrtoPed family for over 20 years, most recently serving as OrtoPed’s Clinical Sales Manager. Jeff’s career spanned over 37 years, with roles as a Technician, Central Fabrication Manager, and a reputable educator for multiple Canadian universities, colleges, and P&O facilities. He also was an active member of Orthotics Prosthetics Canada.

Jeff was an amazing husband, father and friend, knowledgeable team member, and a well-respected individual within the P&O community. Jean Desjardins, COO of OrtoPed ULC, reflects, “Jeff was a great person and I deeply enjoyed the time we spent together over the years. During our recent travels, he always impressed me with the quality of his relationships and his intimate knowledge of the business. Jeff was truly a people person and was always there for others. It was a privilege to work with him and I will miss him deeply. Please join me in extending our deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and colleagues.”
