In loving memory of Jeffrey Lopinski

Jeff passed away September 1st, 2024 at home.

Jeff was a beloved son and eldest sibling to his two sisters, brother, and a loving uncle to 4 nephews. He had a passion for reading, discussing politics, playing board games and enjoyed family conversations around the dinner table.

Jeff's love for sports started when he was in 10th grade as a coaches assistant for little league baseball. He played golf, bowling and was also a hockey arena scorekeeper, softball umpire and worked for many years with his best friend Mike D. at Senior Softball USA. Jeff was a loyal dog sitter to Hailey. Also, he was an enthusiastic Detroit Lions fan.

Jeff went for daily bicycle rides commuting all around the area, and Co-chair of voter elections for his home city of Madison Heights. Jeff will forever be missed by his family and friends who loved him dearly.

Donations will be used for service arrangements. We will be having a memorial service for Jeff's cremation at Edward Swanson and Sons funeral home, 30351 Dequindre Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071, on friday Sept 20 from 3pm til 6pm.
