In Memory of Jeffrey Tarrant
A year ago today, we lost our dad. He was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (GBM), a form of terminal brain cancer, two years earlier. In his memory and honor, we set up this page to support research that contributes to the cure and treatment of GBM.
He was deeply involved with the following research initiatives: Dr. David Reardon's Research Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Global Coalition for Adaptive Research. We will divide the funds among these two causes and donate in his name.
He was determined to help push forward research and to help other families affected by GBM and other terminal cancers. Please join us in continuing his mission.
Love,
Paulina & Fabienne
Dr. David Reardon’s Research Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
Dr. Reardon is the Clinical Director of the Center for Neuro-Oncology at Dana-Farber. The center focuses on developing better treatments, providing the very best care available and supporting patients and their families/caregivers who battle cancers of the brain and spine. You can also support his own fundraiser through the Pan-Mass Challenge here: https://profile.pmc.org/DR0211
Global Coalition for Adaptive Research (GCAR)
GCAR's mission is to speed the discovery and development of treatments for patients with rare and deadly diseases. Their GBM AGILE (Glioblastoma Adaptive Global Innovative Learning Environment) is a clinical trial to identify effective therapies and the most promising biomarker-defined populations for those therapies in patients with glioblastoma. https://www.gcaresearch.org/gbm-agile/
