In Memory of Jenna Bentley
Donation protected
On Sunday night, heaven gained an angel. Our beautiful Jenna passed on and is now at peace. Her closest loved ones are putting together the arrangements to celebrate her life, but are finding the means to do so quite difficult after dedicating everything they’ve had to helping her courageously fight cancer for so many years.
Jenna and her twin sister, Ava, were born on December 28, 2004. In September of 2006, at just 21 months old, Jenna was diagnosed with cancer, a Wilm’s tumor was found on her kidney. Jenna finished treatments in October of 2008 and was considered to be cancer free until September 2016, when Jenna was found to have relapsed and it was confirmed the cancer had returned. After a variety of treatments and a courageous battle, Jenna passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020, just two weeks after her and Ava celebrated their 15th birthday.
Jenna never let her illness define her or slow her down. She kept up with school, extra-curricular activities and loved to hang out with friends. She also loved her dog, Cooper, who brought her so much joy and even got to visit her in the hospital on Saturday.
Her family has sacrificed so much for many years to support her in her fight. Her parents are now left with the unimaginable task of making and paying for funeral arrangements. While Jenna’s family, friends and her community mourn the loss of a beautiful, sweet girl, we want to make sure that her family does not need to worry about anything else during this very difficult time.
Every little amount donated will go very far in helping to honor Jenna with a beautiful day and let Jenna’s family know just how impactful her life was. We appreciate anything you can do and all of your kind words and thoughts.
I will share any details of arrangements as they become available. Thank you. *This page is being managed by Jenna’s cousin, Meagan (Brett’s niece) with the permission of Jenna’s parents, Brett and Carla. I will manage the page, withdraw the funds and hand deliver them directly to her parents, Carla and Brett, to assist them in paying for funeral/memorial expenses. They have authorized me to withdraw the funds on their behalf and deliver the money to them outside of GoFundMe. I have posted the Saul Funeral Home details and Jenna’s obituary below. Thank you again everyone!
