In Memory of Jennifer Miller: Cremation Fund
Donation protected
My mother, Jennifer D. Miller, passed away Sunday, August 18th at the Hospice House in NKC. On Friday, my husband and one of Mom's neighbors found her unresponsive on the floor in her apartment. We don't know how long she was there or what happened. She was life-flighted to North Kansas City Hospital and was in critical condition. Life-saving procedures were done, but there was too much damage. On Saturday afternoon, I had them stop those measures because that's what she wanted. She was put in hospice Saturday night and passed away Sunday night.
She didn't have a life insurance policy in place long enough for them to pay out. She was just broken after we lost my little brother last year.
She had a heart of gold and would help anyone out even if she didn't have the means. She was very patriotic. So much so, she was named the "Flag Lady" at one point. She was even a member of the VFW for years in Liberty and North Kansas City. She loved her cat, Baby, more than life itself.
I am asking for help for her cremation. Thank you in advance.
