The hardest goodbyes

are the ones you don’t see coming.

The ones you don’t plan.

Or could never imagine happening.

This week has been one of the hardest weeks of my life and I’ve struggled to find the words to share…

This past Sunday, November 24th, 2024 our family, tragically and very unexpectedly lost a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, and a grandmother (just to name a few of the titles she held in life). With tears in my eyes and a heavy heart, I share a life gone too soon, my big sister and very first friend, Jennifer Moon.

Per Jennifer’s request, she has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00-5:00 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Longbranch Hotel Ballroom, 90 Twixt Town Road, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402. A brief Eulogy and time to share any stories or special memories will be held at the beginning of this gathering.
