As we mourn the loss of our dear friend, Jen, if you're like me, you may find yourself wondering how you can help support Story, Annie, and Jay through this unimaginable tragedy.

As you may know, Jen transitioned into the arms of her Savior on July 20th, 2024.

As the creator of this campaign, it's hard to find the words to articulate the depth of their loss. Jen was their rock, their glue, their everything.

Jen was the person we all strived to be like. She was present, giving, loyal, empathetic, God-loving, and kind. She was an amazing mother to two beautiful girls from the inside out, a loving wife, best friend, and friend to all, who will be missed beyond words.

Personally, to my family, Jen taught us how a simple act of hospitality can foster connections and build a sense of community. As we sit at our "Turquoise Table," I'm reminded of the countless seeds Jen planted. Through her unwavering faith, pointing people to Him, and pouring her heart and soul into co-laboring to plant three churches—South City Church (StL), Grace + Peace (Austin, TX), and All Souls Church of St. Louis (StL)—and through her impact as a therapist.

Jen believed, "Adversity introduces you to yourself." In her role as a therapist, Jen shared that she felt "privileged to participate in offering the possibility for hope, healing, and flourishing." These words resonate with me as we find ourselves with an opportunity to honor Jen's legacy, offering Story, Annie, and Jay hope, healing, and an opportunity to flourish without the weight of financial fears as they navigate life forward without Jen.

It saddens me deeply; Story and Annie will graduate high school and head off to college in the next few years, and Jen's presence will be missed in these moments and many more. While we, their community, can't cure their pain, we can help build a strong foundation for Story and Annie to stand on as they flourish in life.

Jay, thank you for your vulnerability in allowing me to share openly, Jen was the main breadwinner. As Annie recently noted, Jen was the doer of all things, both big and small. Jen is the person many counted on to act in times of need. Now it's our turn to carry the torch forward in honor of Jen.

If you're able, please join me and give what you can to help provide light through the darkness. Your generosity, kindness, and continued prayers are enormously appreciated and will make a significant impact.
