In Memory of Jerry Lee Holdren
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Tessa Harris and I am asking for donations for my Grandfather, Jerry Holdren.
It is with great sadness that I must even write that Jerry passed away on January 23rd, 2024. He will be greatly missed by not only his direct family and other relatives, but friends near and far as well. For any who knew him, you knew how much of a jokester he was. He was the light of anyone's day, and he never let anyone see him suffering. He knew how to make a joke at just about anything, even towards the end of his life. He lived a long life, though selfishly I wish he could have continued to live on even longer than he had, so that I could spend a few more moments with him where he would make me laugh and smile, even when I didn't want to.
However with the sorrow comes the joy in knowing that he is at rest and in the loving embrace of God. He's with all who had unfortunately gone on before him, and they are having the time of their lives. I know he's up in heaven makin a ruckus bangin' on those piano keys, like he enjoyed so much.
While the most difficult part of this process is grieving him, we are also faced with the financial burden that has come with it. I am hopeful that we will be able to raise the money needed to cover his cremation cost, otherwise it is a possibility that we may lose having our loved Papaw's remains with us at all. We do not want that to happen, but we are at a loss of what to do as we do not make enough money nor have enough to even begin to cover it. Please, any donation at all is welcome and encouraged, as we would just like to be relieved of the stress that this is placing on us, and be able to grieve in peace. Thank you so much for your time.
The Harris/Holdren family.
