On a Sunday morning, I woke up to a phone call from our mother around 10am. My heart dropped as I fell to the floor screaming and crying in all loss of words to let out. MY family was shattered by the sudden loss of my AMAZING Big Sis, Jessica Bridges, a vibrant, caring mother, daughter, sister, and one amazing aunt, taken far too soon in a tragic car accident at the young age of 36.
Sis was a huge ball of light in our lives, always ready with a smile and a kind word. If you knew her, there was never a dull moment with my sister. Her laughter was infectious and fearcly amazing. Her presence filled every room with warmth, joy and so much love. She leaves behind her two young sons, Bentley Matthew (13) and Owen Andrew (6), who now face a future without their mom's guiding hand. Our mother, Regina Robertson, is devastated by the loss of her cherished daughter and best friend.
As a family, we are struggling to comprehend this unimaginable tragedy. Jess was not just a sister; she was a confidante, a rock, and the glue that held us together. Her absence is a gaping hole in our hearts that will never be filled and most importantly, never replaced.
To help alleviate the financial burden during this difficult time, we are humbly reaching out to our community with this GoFundMe campaign. The funds raised will be used to cover immediate expenses related to her funeral arrangements, as well as support for her children's future needs.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will be deeply appreciated and will help us honor Sis's (Jess's) memory by providing for her precious boys and our mother who has blessed us all since day one. ❤️
