In Memory of Joan DiCicco
Donation protected
Some of you may have heard, Joan DiCicco was freed from her battle with cancer on June 4, 2019. She is now free from pain and is reunited with her dear family and friends that have gone before her.
Joan is survived by her loving husband Eddie of 45 years, her sisters Philomena and Carmela, her children Laura, Thomas and Denise, son-in-law Mike, and her two obsessions that are her grandchildren Jude and Olivia.
Joan was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 2, 1948. She graduated from Great Neck South High School in 1967. Family was most important to Joan. Many of you have been here for her and our family; making us laugh, listening to us cry, and providing endless love and support. You have been there no matter what and are considered family to us. We are endlessly grateful and love you all.
Joanie loved the beach. It was extra special when the dolphins, shells and her grandchildren were involved. She also had a not-so-secret obsession with Elvis Presley and we hope she was serenated as she arrived to Heaven. When she wasn’t at the beach, blasting Elvis in the house or shopping, Joanie was tending to her garden of orchids and pruning her fig tree. Joan had a great sense of humor and we would love to hear some of the funny memories that you shared with her.
The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 8th at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, we would like to request monetary donations that will be divided amongst Joan’s favorite charities. We will do something special for the Hospice Team and the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.
