In Memory of John Zuber Jr - Loving Father, PawPaw, Husband

Donation protected
It is with an extremely heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I share with you the passing my my Father, John Zuber Jr, on 10/22/2014. My father wasn’t perfect, but I can never remember a time that he wasn’t there for me when I needed him. He was stubborn, often grumpy, but cared deeply about his family. Even those that believed he didn’t.

As a young kid, we didn’t see eye-to-eye on many things. Probably because I was/am just as stubborn as he was. We would often argue about stupid things, as most people do. But he loved me. He loved all of us. He never missed a baseball game, basketball game, wrestling match, bowling match, or track meet. He was always there, rooting for me even when I didn’t believe in myself.

Whenever I needed him, he was there. He even drove 730 miles with my Mom, Sister, and nephew to SC to visit me and my family over Christmas when we lived in South Carolina. Given his health at time, I cannot believe that was easy on him. But he came, nonetheless. We had some adventures while they visited. Some of which will stick with me forever.
He cared deeply for his grandchildren and was fond of spending time with them. Alicity, Arizona, Preston, and Zayden. Pawpaw loved you so much. Keep him in your heart and remember him as he was. He cherished every moment with you, and I hope that gives you comfort and strength in this difficult time.

Please keep my mother in your thoughts. She has been by his side day in and day out for the last three weeks as he fought a hard battle. He put up a good fight, often leading us to believe all was going to be well, as it always has. But unfortunately, this was a battle he couldn’t win. He has fought long and hard with health issues for a good 20 years. Always coming out on top, for better or worse. You were a fighter, and we thank you for that. You gave us many extra years together, even though I know inside you were hurting. Thank you Dad, Father, PawPaw, Bee #2. You helped mold me into the man I am today, and I will never forget you. Love, Bee.

My father attempted to get life insurance, but was unable to secure any before he passed. He needed about one more year before his policy became active. My mother doesn't exactly have a lot of income, and expenses for his funeral/cremation are going to put a big strain on us financially. She has been on FLMA for the last month with no income. If you can help out, even in the smallest amount, it would go a long way. I appreciate all of you for your support.
