In Memory of Johnson Mix: Support His Loved Ones
Donation protected
My name is Wilson Gover, and I am the son-in-law of Johnson Mix. Johnson was born January 14, 1953 in Burntcorn, AZ to Betty Ann Kay and Tom Mix, a WWII Army veteran. His clans were Ma’ii Deeshgiiznii, Tsi’naajinii, Kinyaa’aani, and Tóbąąhi. Johnson returned to the stars Monday October 21, 2024, at 8:00am in Flagstaff, AZ.
My father-in-law was my football, coffee, and donut buddy. He loved the Arizona Cardinals — our favorite team! — and to travel to new places. He was an avid fisherman and hiker, and was always one to pack up and take the family for a good camping adventure; he loved his outdoors excursions.
During my partner and I’s relationship, he was always there to encourage us to keep working towards a better future for ourselves and our daughter; he was our rock — our mountain.
Johnson leaves his teachings with his three daughters; Julianne, Jamila, and Janice, who carry forward his love and duty to the family, and a legion of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He leaves his legacy of diligence, iron commitment, and unwavering love for family behind for us to carry forward.
We, the family and myself, appreciate your support — especially all your prayers — during this time, and with great humility we humbly ask for your support in securing the funds to lay to rest our paragon.
A’hé’heé! Nawa irí!
Thank you
