In memory of Jonathan Bazemore

My dear sweet friend Cynthia Bazemore lost her husband Jonathan after a courageous battle with cancer. To know Jonathan was to love Jonathan. Any money raised will help Cynthia, Carlie, and Katie with funeral expenses and any future expenses in the days and weeks to come.

Jonathan Edward Bazemore, 50, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024.

The Chatham County native was employed at Colonial Oil Group Inc. for 23 years. Jonathan was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Wayne Bazemore.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Dean Bazemore; his daughters, Carlie Bazemore, Katie Bazemore, Sydney Bazemore, and Anna Bazemore; his mother, Brenda Bazemore Simkins (Dwight); brother, Brandon Bazemore (Michele); niece, Peyton Bazemore; mother-in-law, Liz Dean; brother-in-law, Devon Dean; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; a special friend, Brett Akins.

Visitation will be 2:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Pine Street Baptist Church, 118 2nd Ave., Guyton, GA 31312. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m.
