Jose de Jesus Alvarez was an exceptional man that touched the lives of many. It's hard to summarize his life, his passions, or even half of his expertise. He was an incredible husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin, and son but he also felt familial to many that were lucky enough to cross paths with him. He was passionate, charismatic, driven, funny, loving, caring, determined, reliable, helpful, and loyal. He was a storyteller, jokester, comedian, driver, carpenter, electrician, plumber, mechanic, and landscaper, an unmatchable force to say the least. Sadly, he is no longer with us and his loss has shaken us all to our core. We sincerely appreciate everyone's messages and calls and we thank you for all your kind words about our beloved father. Many have generously offered to contribute financially to help ease the burden of hospital expenses as well as funeral and burial expenses; we have started this fundraiser for those who would like to donate. On behalf of my family, we appreciate and thank everyone for your love and support during this very difficult time.

Information regarding funeral:

Due to CDC guidelines, the wake will be family only. However, we will have open-casket visitation from 9:30 am-11:30 am on Tuesday, December 8th, 2020 at Epiphany Parish followed by a mass. The church has space for up to 170 people with proper social distancing and masks will be required at all times. We welcome anyone who wants to pay their respects but the safety and health of everyone remain a priority.
