In Memory of Jose Luis Cobos Hernandez

Hello, my name is Alma Gonzalez. This is my uncle Jose Luis Cobos Hernandez, he was a great man. He still had a whole life to live for. He went to the hospital on July 25, 2024, due to a stroke. He was discovered by the sheriff lying on the bathroom floor at the Mission College in Sylmar, CA. They immediately called the paramedics to transfer him to the hospital, he then began to show improvement after 10 days being in the hospital.

On August 5th, the doctors got back his MRI result and they accidentally found a mass in his lungs. They did a biopsy and after 2 weeks we got the results back, that mass was stage 4 cancer. He never knew he had cancer, no one knew because he looked so healthy and always happy and full of life. He started to lose oxygen due to his lung cancer, after a few weeks he eventually lost all of his oxygen.

And on August 14th, 2024, he passed away. The doctors came to an agreement that he was in severe pain and the artificial oxygen was maxed out and he needed to rest. So we all came to an agreement and let him out of his misery. He is now free and no more pain, he is in heaven now with my father and his family members.
