In Memory of Josh Weston: Support His Wife & Children

On Thursday, September 19, 2024 our lives were forever changed when my brother, Josh Weston, left this world after his courageous battle with cancer ended.

On behalf of my sister-in-law, Heather Weston, and my nephews and niece, Brycen, Parker, and Cassie, I have started this Go Fund Me to help them during this very difficult time in their lives. It would be his wish for them to not have to worry about the financial burden of this situation.  Heather will use the money from this fundraiser to cover final arrangements, pay bills, and take care of the kids. 

If you knew Josh well, then you knew he was a very private person. He was also a hard-working man who did everything in his power to support his wife and kids, even working two jobs at times so Heather could be a stay-at-home Mom.

Unfortunately, their lives were turned upside down in April 2023 when Josh was diagnosed with Stage 4 esophageal cancer that had metastasized to his liver. Despite the odds not being in his favor because it was such an aggressive form of cancer, he vowed to fight with everything in him for his wife and kids. For 18 months, his family stood beside him as he was fighting for his life. He learned how to value the good days and rest on the bad days. He focused on making memories with his family and doing his best to be there for all the big and small moments. He was a warrior, and he couldn’t have asked for a better caretaker. Heather was a superwoman - she was absolutely dedicated to caring for Josh in every way during his battle. During his cancer battle, Josh nor Heather were able to work. Josh also did not have life insurance.

We all thought we would have more time with Josh. Our hearts are broken that we must continue living day-by-day without him. We hope you can find it in your heart to donate to help Heather and their children.
