In Memory of Joshua Thomas Forbes

Over the weekend of July 24th, 2021, Joshua Thomas Forbes unexpectedly passed away. Josh was one of the most caring and kind people to ever walk the earth. Josh was an amazing father to his only daughter, Payten, who is now 13 years old. He was an all-around family man who loved his mother, Kim, father, Todd, both of his brothers, and his extended family beyond belief. During his 30 years on this earth, he was fortunate enough to meet his soulmate, Alysa Edwards, whom he was due to marry this August, less than a month before tragedy struck.

Josh was a journeyman lineman and dedicated member of the IBEW. Everyone fortunate enough to have Josh in their life is better for knowing him. We can all take solace in knowing Josh is now with his late brother, Jeremy, along with other loved ones who have passed on. With any death, especially an untimely one, many expenses occur. Any donations will go toward the cost of Josh’s end-of-life medical care, funeral expenses, and to the benefit of Payten Forbes, Alysa Edwards, and Kim Van Der Kolk.
