The Kahinga family has unexpectedly lost a family member who was dear to everyone’s hearts. Josphat Gachuiri was a loving husband, father, brother, son, and friend.
In 2018 he was diagnosed with a form of cancer known as Multiple Myeloma. In the months to follow he went through multiple forms of treatments including chemo, radiation, and even a stem cell transplant. His wife Angelica had been by his side through it all taking months of time off from work to help him during treatments. Though he fought hard for over a year and a half he eventually succumbed to the illness on Saturday, January 25. He leaves behind a wife and two daughters. With all the emotional pain and stress that death can bring, it also brings financial burdens. This GoFundMe is being created to help with funeral costs and financial assistance.
Many of you have reached out to either the family or close friends asking how you can support this family. So many people loved Josphat, for his warm personality, and have so many wonderful memories of him. All your donations, thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated.
