Those who know me know that my grandparents helped raise me and many others in my family. They gave me and my children a place to live. My Nana was a nurse for most her life in Wauchula hospital. Those who knew her knew she wasn't the sweet cuddle type. She was a spit fire. She was bull headed opinionated and lord knows she would tell ya how she felt. She loved deeply but in her own way. Her past few years were some of the roughest in and out of the hospitals doctors offices. last year she was diagnosed with colon cancer. My Nana has always been a fighter but she was tired. As of 2/20/24 She went home to the lord and is no longer sick or in pain. This is a very hard time for many of us cause many of us were so close to her and this is something no one is prepared for. I want to make sure she is laid to rest how she should be. asking for help is something very hard to do something I inherited naturally from my grandparents. But any little thing can help. Her funeral will be at Robarts in Wauchula no set date as of yet.
