In memory of Julian Silas

Hello friends and family,

I am sad to announce the passing of Julian Silas, a son, brother, uncle, grandfather and father. Julian was born in Flagstaff, AZ and passed away in Albuquerque, NM, on 10/11/2022, just shy of his 49th birthday.

Julian was a loving and traditional Hopi man who loved to tell stories about his many adventures and tradition that our hearts ache to hear once again. Julian contributed many years of service with the United States Forest Service as a Hotshot firefighter. Julian was an old soul who valued his traditions and enjoyed singing traditional songs on his hand drum. Anyone who knew Julian knows he had a great sense of humor and had many stories to share. He is survived by his six children and two grandchildren, whom he loved with all his heart.

We are creating this fund to help us celebrate him and his life. Your donations will help us cover the cost of funeral services.
