Yorkshire 3 Peaks in Memory of Julie Parker

Myself and my siblings will be walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in memory of our mother, Julie Parker, who we sadly lost on 9th February 2024.

Our mum put up such a huge fight during her time fighting such an awful disease.

She was a real tough cookie, and kept her spirits high even in her darkest days.

And we want to do her proud! And show her that even now, we’re still fighting for her.

Some of us that are walking aren’t experienced in fell/peak walking, and to combine all 3 will be a real challenge.

Our mum having cancer certainly opened our eyes to just how much pain and suffering people go through,

and equally how that affects their family too.

We want to raise as much money as possible to help our local cancer charity, Bosom Friends who I know have been such a huge support and blessing to so many people in our lovely little town of Barnoldswick, including our mum.

Any donation, no matter how small, will be hugely appreciated.

The walk was scheduled for Saturday 8th June, however, due to physical injury the walk has now been pushed back to Saturday 14th September.
