In memory of Juliette Cruz

On Friday July 3rd Andres and Juliette were on their way to the hospital to be first time parents to Scarlette Rose. They were both so ready and excited.

During the child birth process things did not go as planned and Lett was rushed to the operating room for an emergency C- section. Scarlette Rose was born and Lett was very exhausted but all seemed good. Things quickly turned for the worst and with great sadness Lett passed early Saturday morning leaving her husband and daughter behind.

Scarlette Rose is on oxygen to help her breath but should be home in a few days. Not only does Andres need our love and prayers but he also needs our financial support as he and Scarlette Rose make the unimaginable transition to life without Lett.  Not only has Andres lost his life partner, but he has also lost half of their income and health insurance coverage. Their health insurance was through Lett’s job in education and as Andres is an independent truck driver he will need help paying for the costs of having a newborn.

I’ve known Andres almost my entire life and he is one of the kindest, loving and most reliable friends you will ever meet. He’s always had a servants heart and is completely devastated. He is an amazing friend, husband, brother and now he’s going to be an amazing dad. Now he and Scarlette Rose need our help in this very sad time.
