In Loving Memory of Julio Manuel Santiago

This GoFundMe campaign is established in remembrance of Julio Manuel Santiago, who passed recently and unexpectedly from cancer.  It will provide a process for his friends and colleagues to show their love and support for his family during this time of bereavement.  Julio (pronounced Hoo-lee-o) was a kind-hearted, easy-going soul, who dearly loved his family.  He especially enjoyed family time with his many cousins.  Julio was born in Washington, D.C., and enjoyed engaging in the region's culture.  During the summer nights, you might find him in downtown Silver Spring, enjoying the local outdoor concerts. He gave unselfishly to help others in need and was a diligent and faithful employee for the Maryland Emergency Medicine Network, University of Maryland, most recently working at Prince George’s Hospital Center. 

We are saddened by this sudden loss and will truly miss his smiling face and of course, his infectious laugh.  May Julio rest in God’s peace as we look forward to that Great Reunion where we will spend eternity together, by God’s grace.
