In Memory of SMP artist Justin Johnson, donate for his kids

Justin Johnson, a dear friend and colleague, sadly left us on April 25th. Justin was a Father of two, a Son, a Brother, a Fiancé , a grandson, and most significantly a pure warm soul of a human being.

I met Justin through our mutual connections in Scalp Micropigmentation. He had spent some time training with me and visiting in NYC, but more notably he quickly became a friend. While we didn't get to see each other as much as we both would have liked, Justin was always someone who stayed in touch and he made his mark not just on me, but on the SMP & PMU community at large.

He was first the owner of SMP Portland, and then more recently partnered with his talented Fiancé Jocelyn to operate Ink & Ashberry - A SMP and cosmetic tattoo studio.

Justin was enthusiastic about everything SMP and helping men and women. He never stopped learning, never stopped pushing, and never stopped caring about his craft. He was one of the good ones in our industry and we are surely less without him.

I hope us SMP and PMU artists can band together and contribute, even just a little, to the memory of Justin Johnson and to help his two beautiful children Olive & Ezra, who will surely need all the love and support they can get without their beloved Dad. Our SMP community may be small, but it is at its most powerful when we support each other.
