In memory of Karen Hernandez, the family thanks you!

It is with a heavy heart I inform all family and friends that my dearest sister Karen Hernandez has passed away.
Grief during the holidays feels like living two lives. One side I pretend everything is ok, surrounded by love, joy and all the festivities. But I know this is what you’d want. The other is my heart feeling the pain of what once was. Of you not being here with us any more.
Some loves are too hard to bare, but with great love comes great pain. And with great loss comes the greatest pain of all.
I will never stop watching my daughter, your niece, grow, go to her first dance, her first practice/recital/whatever and think. “you would’ve loved seeing this”.
“Grief is the most honest reflection of love. You would not feel so deeply if you did not first have the capacity to love just as deeply, and that is something to embrace with grief”. - Unknown
Thank you for everything, everything you did for me. The pain you saved me from, the burdens you carried for me.
Many of you have reached out and expressed the intention of donating funds for her services. As a family we understand that to some, this is the best way you feel you can show how much you loved my sister. While as a family we are prepared to take on this financial burden we sincerely also are grateful you would consider helping out this way. We have every intention to give my sister the best and most honorable service so I assure you every dollar will be put to good use.
Thank you for your help from the bottom of our hearts.
*Please note: The date of her service on this page is only an estimate as we are still trying to organize everything. When we have an actual date we will update it here and remove this note.
