In Memory of Kate Griffin Warling: Help Her Family

Hi, I am Crystal. I have been Kate Griffin Warling's friend for 32 years. It all started in Old Town Arvada, 5619 Allison Street, right next to Lawrence Elementary, around 5th or 6th grade. Kate was my neighbor, then friend, a schoolmate, a Girl Scout, and most importantly, a lifelong friend. Wes Kates husband I believe is doing a service this Saturday I don’t have all details quite yet. Will keep all posted

I can’t believe she is gone. I’m blessed to have had this friend, and now Angel, who watches over me and all she loves, which I know she will. She had a big heart, a heart of gold! I am lucky to say that after 25 years of being apart, we got to share, reconnect, and introduce our families.

My heart is heavy, saddened, pained, and I will forever miss my friend and wish we had more time. I’ll cherish all the memories we shared from young girls who were dumb, silly, and carefree to adults with family responsibilities and most importantly, love that can move mountains and last a lifetime. A friendship that, near or far, connected again without any space ever being a thought, as if we were never apart.

My heart goes out to her beautiful family, her children, most importantly Savannah and Devin, as well as her husband Wesley Warling. I also know all of her immediate family and my heart is with you in strength, prayer, love, grief, and remembrance of what we can take with us in having Kate in our lives.

She will live on through our memories, thoughts, experiences, and the love she gave, showed, and taught us all. Please help this family in a tragic time of crisis, loss, grief, sadness, and pain for Kate Griffin was way too young but yet again, “An angel amongst us” watching over us!! Fly high sweet lady, never forgotten, always loved, and missed!! We love you so much and miss you so much!! Thanks for always being my friend ❤️
