In Memory of Katherine: Aid for Her Loved Ones

While returning home from a road trip, Katherine experienced difficulty breathing. After seeking medical care, she was intubated, and her heart stopped for four minutes. Her condition worsened as she spent a week in the ICU, where she was diagnosed with global anoxic brain injury. Katherine, who was only 34 years old and preparing to celebrate her birthday on September 27, took her final breath on the morning of August 15, 2024, surrounded by her father and sister.

Katherine leaves behind her loving husband, Ropeti, and their two beautiful children, Canton (9) and Evelyn (13). She was a cherished blessing to her family and friends—a woman of deep faith and devotion to her loved ones. Katherine found joy in life through her family, coaching her children's sports teams, refereeing volleyball, and caring for her loved ones. Her positive spirit and competitive drive inspired success in the teams she led. She gracefully balanced her community involvement and dedication to her children's activities while also serving as the primary caregiver for her mother, Evelyn.

During this difficult time, we humbly ask for your support to help Katherine's family as we mourn her loss, make funeral arrangements, cover medical expenses, and provide for the future of her children.
