In Memory of Kenny Lovi - Help Support the Lovi Family
Donation protected
This page is set up to honor the life of Kenneth Lovi, an amazingly generous and kind man who was taken from us way too soon. All donations will be sent directly to the Lovi family for costs related to preserving his memory, extending his legacy and celebrating his life.
Kenny brought joy, love, kindness, and hope to everyone he graced with his presence. If you were lucky enough to know him, you know how passionate and loving a husband, friend, boss, master BBQ'er, and NY Giants/Penn State fan he was. He was also deeply involved with and connected to his local community. His dream was to open a neighborhood bar that brought everyone together to enjoy great drinks, wonderful food and conversation that spurred new friendships. He truly succeeded with Knotty Barrel. The positive impact he had on his community cannot adequately be put into words, but will always endure.
His service and commitment were not limited to downtown San Diego. Kenny also dutifully served in the United States Marines Corps under the Presidential Special Unit (HMX1) in Washington, DC. He never gave up his love and dedication to his country even after his honorable discharge in 1989.
Processing the loss of a man who gave so much to so many will not be easy for any of us. His passing will forever leave a void in our hearts and minds. But fully processing that loss and filling that void is something the Lovi family will never be able to do.
To help with that painful process (at least in part), we are hopeful his loved ones, friends and community can come together to ease some of the heavier financial burdens his family now bears. Your contribution will go a long way in doing so.
We sincerely appreciate your generosity in advance.
(A celebration of life will be announced once arrangements have been made.)
