In memory of Kevin Hoffman

Donation protected
In loving memory of Kevin William Hoffman, born on March 16, 1961, who passed away April 10, 2024 due to duodenal adenocarcinoma.

Kevin was the son of John and Dolores Hoffman and was born in Edmonton, Alberta. He graduated from Spruce Grove Composite High School and pursued higher education at the University of Alberta before leaving the small town farm life to continue his graduate studies at the University of Alabama.

Armed with a degree in aerospace engineering, Kevin's illustrious career spanned nearly four decades in the aviation industry. With his entrepreneurial spirit, he founded two successful companies: Aerospace Concepts and Janus Aerospace.

In 2011, Kevin was nominated and awarded the prestigious Aerospace Engineer and Mechanics Distinguished Fellow status from the University of Alabama. That same year, Kevin founded the Lilly Hoffman Heart Foundation to help the families of children who suffer from Congenital Heart Defects.

Kevin's love for hockey, Alabama football, and country music added vibrancy to his life.

Kevin is survived by his mother Dolores Hoffman, his seven children: Ashle Camp (Jason; expecting grandchild October 2024), Lindse Parsons (Andy; grandchildren: Hudson and Ellie Parsons), Peter Hoffman, Andrew Hoffman, David Hoffman, Lilly Hoffman, Celia Hoffman; sisters Renee Bay (Donny) and Valerie Schamerhorn and a large extended family.

A deeply beloved father, Kevin's passing, while anticipated, leaves a void. His children find peace in knowing that he is in Heaven. His legacy lives on through the love and laughter he shared with family and friends.

In celebration of Kevin's vibrant life and assistance to others, a fund has been established to aid his younger children's and grandchildren's education.

Your generous contribution honoring Kevin's legacy is greatly appreciated.
