In Memory of Kevin McGee: Support His Loved Ones

Kevin James McGee was a friend, a father, and a valued colleague to many. Kevin tragically and very suddenly passed away at his home earlier this month.

Before his career in the oilfield, Kevin served 6 years in the US Navy, including time spent in the Persian Gulf as a radar operator aboard an aircraft carrier. Many who worked with him commented on his ability to remain calm, logical and methodical no matter the crisis at hand, he always credited his experience in the Navy as what gave him this unflappable demeanor. Following his time in the Navy, Kevin started a career in the oilfield and eventually joined Scientific Drilling. Beginning in Louisiana, then spending the majority of his 17 year time with the company in Pennsylvania, Kevin was always easy to get along with, bringing a thoughtful, intelligent and positive attitude to everything he did. Kevin will be sorely missed by those that knew him.

Sadly Kevin leaves behind his wife Mary, and his two sons, Connor and Collin. This page has been setup to allow anyone that would like to help the family through a very difficult time. Thank you.
