In Memory of Kevin Oliver
Kevin passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, in New Brunswick.
For all of us who were lucky enough to call Kevin a friend, it was obvious that he loved his work in security integration and property management. Kevin actively supported these fields by being an active member of CAI and continuing to serve on various committees and speaking at events; in doing so he earned multiple awards.
Kevin served on the Lakehurst Board of Education for 17 years, and also served as the vice president and treasurer for the Lakehurst Police Foundation and was a member of the Park Rod and Gun Club.
His passions were hunting and fishing and he enjoyed playing cards with his friends. He also enjoyed watching his children play sports and sharing his love for the outdoors with them. Close family and friends often saw his creative side come out when he would annually bake cakes for his children’s birthdays in the shape of whatever idea was given to him. Kevin was notorious for using as many pots, pans and tools in the kitchen whenever he cooked and leaving Tara to contend with them. Showing the lighter side of Kevin’s personality, when his favorite songs came on the radio, he could often be found singing and dancing along to the music in the car.
Kevin leaves behind, his wife Tara of 21 years, son, Nicholas , and his daughters, Elizabeth and Rachael.
In honor of Kevin, in lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider making a donation to support the children's education. As we know, what Kevin would want most is for his children to be secure during this very difficult time.
