In memory of Kris & Max Counts

Family Members of Max & Kristofer Counts,

want to thank each & every one of you for providing a donation, share, warm hug etc to any and/or all of them to ease the pain these two tremendous losses have struck upon these families & friends. Your efforts do not go unnoticed. Not today. Tomorrow. Or any day thereafter.

Our favorite father & son (Batman & Robin) duo will be honored & remembered at a Celebration of Life Gathering in Casper, Wyoming- Saturday, May 13 of 2023 from 6 PM-9 PM @ The North Casper Soccer Fields, located at the Pavilion on the East Side. The family has chosen to hold this Celebration of Life in remembrance of Kris & Max for not only themselves to grieve, and share memories and condolences- but for you all to be able to do so as well.

Please do not forget to be as respectful as possible whilst arriving to, attending & exiting the Celebration of Life, Speaking with family and/or anyone else in regards to their lives or just in general, but moving forward as well. As we understand this is a very difficult time for us all... it is even more difficult for the parents, siblings, immediate family, etc.

Kristofer & Max would want everyone in attendance to wear a smile whenever possible. Although please do not forget this will be a family-friendly event & will be children present.

*This could look like, but is not limited to the following;

-Refraining from saying the pair are "in a better place" or comments similar in nature.

-Trying to obtain (non-public) information that has not been provided to you specifically by an immediate family member.

Thank you to Dan Capeda @ Oil City News, the Father & Family of AJ Henson for extending their condolences & support- we wish and hope we did the same for you all.

And again, thank you to everyone and anyone who shared, donated, liked, etc this Gofundme (as well as the other donations accounts set up to assist, the meal train organized by Chantale, along with the planning and hosting of the Celebration of Life by Nicole Cunningham & Christine DeLong) to help Charlotte & Michelle (Max & Kris’s mothers) as these two women are doing everything in their power to hold it together to be strong and accept what they cannot change. Although this loss will continue to impact them, us & many others for the rest of our lives.

We hope that as time goes on; you’ll all continue to watch out for the Counts & Sternberg families, as well as any others just in general. Hold & kiss your babies. Spend time with your family. Hug your spouse. Go home for the holidays. Show up for your family. Life is too short.

During the mid to late morning hours of May 1st of 2023, the family and friends of Kris Counts along with his son Max Kade Counts learned of the passing of two unexpectedly. Such precious, great & caring souls - two young lives lost too soon.

As the Counts/Sternberg family and friends grieve these two gentlemen, father and son, we are asking for donations to ease any financial burdens, if at all possible.

Services and/or memorials are to be announced at a later date. We ask that you give the family space and time to grieve although please don’t hesitate to provide support in this difficult time.

“It is hard to forget someone, especially people who gave us so much to remember. “

And as Kristofer would say,
