Help Family of late Krissy Karbowski Johnson: #AutismFamily
Donation protected
Roy Johnson lost the love of his life, Kristine "Krissy" Karbowski Johnson on Sept. 11, 2024. Krissy was battling lung cancer when she suffered 3 successive heart attacks September 8th. Roy had been working flexible gig jobs to care for Krissy and their two children, Kelly, a student at UNLV and Erik, who has #autism. This unexpected, devastating loss has placed a sudden, enormous financial burden on the family as they grieve and attempt to navigate this unfathomable loss.
The Johnson's are longtime members of Central Church in Henderson, NV and enjoyed family focused outreach programs as well as community volunteerism. Krissy was a beloved aid to other children and their families in the Clark County School District before she became ill. Krissy was also devoted advocate in the Autism Community, volunteering and raising autism awareness and acceptance in any way she could.
Originally a hair stylist from Hoffman Estates, IL, Krissy was the ultimate Chicago sports fan, especially the Chicago Cubs, Bears, Bulls and Blackhawks. After moving to Las Vegas/Henderson NV, she eventually added UNLV Rebels and the NHL Golden Knights to her very exclusive list. A passionate animal lover, Krissy volunteered at animal shelters and assisted in dog rescues. Krissy loved her life, Roy, Kelly and Erik and stepson Rick, her entire family, and friends and selflessly helped those in need, especially those facing life-changing challenges.
