In Memory of Larry Manning

Larry Manning created PIIB's dog-friendly culture before it was workplace commonality. It started with a few dogs, and over the years, the pack grew. Larry would describe entering PIIB headquarters being greeted by the PIIB Pups, who always put a smile to his face. What a great way to start the day. Often, times there would be eight wagging tails bombarding the door as he entered. He would always make a point to greet the dogs before he greeted the PIIB team, and we loved that about him.
During meetings, he would often point out a sign hanging in his office, "If you want the best seat in the house, you will have to move the dog."
He had a genuine love for dogs, and we would like to honor his memory with a donation to a local dog rescue. Thank you all for your support.
Foothill Dog Rescue of the Sierras is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to re-homing dogs from high-kill shelters and dogs from owners who can no longer care for them. Our committed volunteers work with local veterinarians, trainers, groomers and boarding facilities to prepare our dogs to transition to their well-matched forever homes. After adoption, we also provide support, information and training services for our new owners. Our goal is to reduce the number of healthy, adoptable dogs, including pregnant dogs and those with puppies, whose time has run out at the shelter and place them in loving forever homes.
