In Memory of Laurel Blauvelt

On Tuesday May 14,2024 our lives changed forever, our family… we lost our sweet Laurel due to surgery complications and a weak heart. Laurel was born with coarctation of the aorta- VSD- patent ductus and had her first heart surgery at 5 days old and first open heart surgery at 8 months old. For the last 6 or so months laurel had been in and out of numerous hospitals & was finally taken seriously and directed to a hospital in Miami where she stayed for over 20 days prior to her surgery. Laurel went in for her procedure to have a valve replacement which unfortunately didn’t go as planned putting her in a coma that ended up taking her from us this past Tuesday. We are in disbelief and complete confusion, this is nothing any of us could have ever expected. Laurel was a sweetheart, someone you could always talk to. She has two beautiful girls and has lived in Jupiter Fl her entire life and loved the beach! She will truly be missed by each and every one of us. There is nothing anyone can do to heal the pain her mother feels but to make matters worse Her mother, Linda is soley handling all funeral expenses!!! She can Barley grieve with all of

this added stress and pressure! I ask you from

the bottom of my heart to please help donate if you are able to, any amount is so incredibly appreciated. No mother should have to bury one
