In Memory of Lee Harrington

My University of Houston colleague, Lee Harrington, passed away after a long battle with bone marrow cancer. His love of journalism was apparent and he taught journalism students for almost 20 years. His family wanted his obituary run in the Houston Chronicle, which cost more than $2,000. Because journalism -- especially print journalism -- was so important to Lee, we want to help them with this expense. Any extra money raised will go to his three adopted sons. Please pass along to any of his former colleagues and students with whom he made an impact. His vigor and tenacity will be missed.
