In Memory of Lenna Bell Walker

Hello, my name is Marsha Walker. This evening, our beautiful mother passed away. She is finally at peace with the Lord, our father, her son, her sisters, her parents and all those that have passed on before her. Since there are only three of us left in our family of 6, my sister Sheila and I have decided that instead of flowers, and in honor of our mother, we would like to ask everyone to please contribute to this fund which will benefit our brother Greg. He has lived his life for our parents for so long, we truly believe that they would appreciate the help you are offering to him.

For those of you that do not know, 14 years ago, Dad had a stroke that paralyzed his right side and affected his speech. Knowing Mom could not care for Dad alone, our brother Greg selflessly moved to WV with our parents to assist. After Dad passed in October of 2013, Mom's dementia was to the point that she needed assistance, therefore, Greg stayed in WV with Mom to help out. Over the many years of medical bills and necessities, Dad's life insurance ran out. We've pitched in and helped supplement Mom's income to make sure she and Greg had what they needed, but now there will be no income, only what we can supplement. Being a caregiver for so long, Greg is going to need assistance during this time of grievance, and to transition back into living "his" life.
