In Memory of Lillian Bennett

We the friends and family of Lillian have started a Go Fund Me to support her family during this unimaginable time.

Lillian lived her life true to herself and was always thinking of others. Ever since she was a little girl she wished and planned to become an orthopedic surgeon.

For a young lady who always dreamt of helping other people, this unfair tragedy has only shifted her goal in the way in which she is doing so. On September 27th she will be honoured with the "Trillium Gift of Life Hero Walk" as she selflessly offers her beautiful & amazing act of kindness to save so many girls lives.

(TGLN) I have been doing this job for about 7.5 years now. The likelihood of finding this many recipients to match from one person is so INCREDIBLY rare

o 90% Ontarians believe in donation

o 35% have registered their consent to be an organ and/or tissue donor

o Only about 2% are eligible at end of life to donate their organs

o 1 receipient will die every 3 days waiting for a transplant

- Lungs – female in her 20’s

- Kidneys – 2 very young females – 1 in her teens and 1 almost in her teens

- Liver – a very very sick middle aged female

- Pancreas – female in her teens

- Heart – a middle aged female
