In Memory of Lilo: Help Dogs Like Her Find Loving Homes

In February of 2024, we had the incredible blessing of rescuing our dog, Lilo, from the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter. From the moment she joined our family, Lilo brought us endless love, joy, and laughter. Her energy, playful spirit, and unwavering loyalty made her an irreplaceable part of our lives. She quickly became a beloved member of our family, cherished by all who met her.

Tragically, on February 4th, Lilo suddenly fell ill, and despite our best efforts to save her, she passed away later that same day. Though our time with her was short, the love she gave us in just one year will stay with us forever. Lilo will always hold a special place in our hearts and we know she will be watching over our family from above.

In her honor, we are starting this fundraiser to support the Friends of the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter—the place that brought our sweet Lilo into our lives. Our goal is to raise funds to help the shelter continue its vital work, ensuring that more dogs in need find their forever homes.

There are countless animals waiting for the love and care that we were lucky enough to give Lilo, and we hope that the funds raised will help provide them with the chance at a happy, loving life. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in the lives of these animals.
