In memory of Linda Gibson-- help for Branda
Donation protected
My name is Scott McNair, and I spent eight years with Linda Gibson and her daughter Branda. Linda had been diagnosed with cancer, achieved remission, and then had it return. It was supposed to be slow-growing, and we all thought she had more time. But, last week, her health took a sudden turn for the worst, and we lost her in about a week. It was a surprise to both Branda and Linda.
Linda asked me to be there for Branda, and I promised I would be.
Her daughter Branda meant everything to her. She was not able to provide the financial support for this situation that she wanted. She was working on that, but her time was cut short. She covered all of Branda's living expenses while working to pay her way through fashion design school. Linda was excited and proud that Branda was pursuing her passion, and she thought Branda would make an excellent fashion designer. This was Linda's dream, to see Branda complete this.
Branda quit her job last week to be with her mother. In addition to her school expenses, she now has living expenses. In memory of Linda, we are accepting donations that go directly to Branda to help with her living expenses and school expense to help preserve what little life insurance is available for the unexpected or to help her get started in life after graduation, as Linda would want.
In Linda's memory, please contribute to her dream for what meant the most to her, Branda. Every dollar helps. Every dollar matters. It would mean the world to Linda. Nothing was more important to her.
