In Memory of Lucas Williams: Support for Ericka and Family.

On November 22nd, my sister, Ericka Williams, tragically and unexpectedly lost her husband, Lucas Williams. He was a husband, father, brother, and dear friend who will be missed beyond measure.

Ericka is understandably shocked by this loss and, unfortunately, not prepared for all that is happening at this time. Losing a loved one is always difficult, but coping with a sudden loss adds a different element to the grieving process. It doesn’t follow a pattern, and there’s often a lack of closure. There are also added financial stressors, such as the cost of planning a funeral or the loss of a spouse’s income to pay for household expenses.

Losing your husband so unexpectedly is something unimaginable and something that will never be healed. If you had the pleasure of knowing Lucas, you knew he was so incredibly kind and caring, goofy and fun, loving and hard working.
